The Vale Food Bank has been open since 2011 and now has five different distribution centres. Volunteers meet clients over a warm drink and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer-term problem. They are also given a food parcel designed to feed them for at least three days. Coastlands has helped to serve thousands of people through this project.
The Big Wrap is organised by The Vale Food Bank providing Christmas presents for hundreds of children across the Vale of Glamorgan. Anyone who receive gifts donated by the community, are referred from agencies in the statutory and voluntary sector as a result of their social or financial need.

Baby Basics is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. It provides much needed essentials and equipment to mothers and families who are unable to provide these items for themselves; including but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. We are excited to have recenlty launched this in our church to help reach out to the surrounding community.
ReStore is a furniture re-use project which aims to provide people on low income in the Vale of Glamorgan with essential good quality furniture and other household items that they otherwise could not afford. Unwanted furniture is donated by members of the public, collected free of charge and then delivered to people in need for a small donation. It is available to anyone for a higher donation to cover costs and help sustain the project.
