Keith Booker

Keith was brought up in a Christian family in the Anglican tradition, getting confirmed into the Church of England at about 14 years old, mainly so he could teach in their Sunday school.  A few years later, a friend introduced him to a group of Christians involved in the newly growing Charismatic movement and he learned about a whole new dimension to his faith.  Since then he has been involved in several churches, all of whom were on the Charismatic/Pentecostal edge of the mainstream Anglican movement, until he moved to Wales in 1991.  He then started attending the Elim Church in Barry and subsequently moved to Coastlands when it was formed in 2003. He is a Trustee and the treasurer.

He has been married to Jan for 26 years.  They have one son, who is married with a son of his own and now living just outside London.   He works at Neath Port Talbot College, where he is  Vice Principal – Operations, with a range of responsibilities including oversight of Estates, the College’s Higher Education courses, Marketing, and the College Nurseries.  In his leisure time he enjoys listening to music, walking the family dog and reading.
